Monopoly GO Crystal Treasures Milestones Guide
The special events carry on in the Marvel Go album on Monopoly Go with the first treasure hunt event of the new season, Crystal Treasures. As usual at this point of a season, there is no wild sticker to be won, but there is a purple and blue pack in the rewards list as well as one of the best board tokens we’ve seen and a shield skin.
Look out for this event in your Monopoly Go from 9 AM ET on October 2nd, 2024. We expect to run for four days, so think it will finish on October 6th at 4 PM ET.
To play this event you’ll need to collect pickaxes, and you can get them from Quick Wins, the eight hourly shop gift and also from banner event and tournament milestones. Crystal Treasures has 20 levels for you to dig through, each one will give you different rewards which are listed below. Look out for the levels with the special items:

How to win the Axolot board token and Crystal Crest shield skin
To win these two special items, you just have to complete the corresponding level from the table above where you can find those rewards located. So for example, complete level 10 to get the Crystal Quest shield skin, and complete level 17 to get the Axolot board token.
While these special items don’t give you any special benefits in the game, this particular board token, is probably one of the best looking ones we’ve seen in the game so far, so many players will definitely be trying to bag this one.
How many Pickaxes Will I need to Finish Crystal Treasures?
Although the number you need will depend on your luck or skill at uncovering the treasures, based on previous experience my estimation is that you’ll need something like 350-400 pickaxes to have a shot at completing all 20 levels in Crystal Treasures. There are many ways to get these over the 4+ days of the event.
How can I get more Pickaxes for Crystal Treasures?
There are various ways to easily get pickaxes in Crystal Treasures, here is a complete rundown.
Solo Milestone Events: There are the events that you see advertised in the game in the top center of the screen. During dig events there will usually be a couple of the solo events to take part in and many milestones with Pickaxes as rewards.
Tournaments: Tournaments are the other events that happen at the same time. These are listed on the right of the game screen and will rewards you for completing either Shutdown or Bank Heist when you land on a Railroad tile. These tournaments also have milestones, and when digging events such as Crystal Treasures are running you’ll be able get some pickaxes within the milestone rewards for the tournament.
Quick Wins: You can access Quick Wins via the ‘WIN’ tab at the bottom of the game screen, while there are special events running, you will usually get the event item (Pickaxes) as one of the rewards for each Quick Win you complete.
Shop Gift: Every eight hours you can collect a free gift from the shop. You can normally find this by going to the shop in the game and then swiping the top block to the left about five times until you get to the end. There will either be a free gift waiting for you which will normally include pickaxes while digging events are running, or a timer telling you when to come back to collect your free gift.
